U.S. Truck Dispatch Rate Report — August 2026
A reproducible look at the 25 load records in our Projects collection. Five equipment groups, with the calculations and limits visible alongside the results.
Read this as a project sample. These are existing first-party website records, not an independently audited U.S. freight index. Supporting rate confirmations and settlement evidence have not been published. The sample’s completeness, mileage basis and fuel-surcharge treatment have not been confirmed. Do not use it as a market rate or an earnings promise.
The equipment breakdown.
RPM is recomputed from gross divided by recorded miles before rounding. Average gross below is the recorded amount per load; it is not verified linehaul-only revenue.

Methodology, without the fine print.
Source & selection
All 25 existing Projects records dated in August 2026 with positive mileage are included. We did not draw a random sample. The balanced five-record groups may not reflect the actual equipment mix of DDQ’s business.
Recorded dates: 2026-08-03 to 2026-08-20. The date field is not separately identified as booking, pickup or payment date.
Distance & money
Miles are used as stored. Deadhead is not separately recorded, so these figures cannot establish all-mile profitability. Fuel surcharge and accessorials are not separate fields; their inclusion in gross is unknown.
Amounts after the dispatch fee still exclude truck operating costs and taxes. They are not net profit.
Calculation & outliers
Per-load RPM = recorded gross ÷ recorded miles. Median = middle rate after sorting; average distance and gross = group total ÷ record count. No outliers are removed and no national weighting is applied.
The aggregate mileage-weighted rate is $3.54. That differs from the $3.50 median load rate because long trips receive more weight.
Geography & interpretation
The CSV lists U.S. origin and destination cities as recorded. It does not establish state-wide or lane-wide market coverage. Five observations per equipment class cannot support reliable equipment rankings or forecasts.
The sample total is separate from the homepage’s broader monthly revenue claim; this report does not substantiate that claim.
